Where we ship

We currently ship to the 48 contiguous United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other US territories, PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally.

Shipping cost

Standard shipping is free on all coops within the contiguous United States. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

How long it takes

Coops ship via UPS Ground and typically arrive within 5–7 business days of your order. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays.

This is a typical window, not a guarantee. Severe weather, carrier delays, and periods of unusually high demand can extend it. If your order is running materially behind, we'll email you rather than leave you guessing.

Tracking

You'll receive a UPS tracking number by email as soon as your coop is dispatched. If your order ships in multiple boxes, you may receive more than one tracking number, and boxes may arrive on different days. This is normal — please allow all boxes to arrive before reporting anything missing.

Delivery

Coops ship flat-packed in heavy boxes. UPS delivers to your address, typically curbside or at your door. Carriers do not bring boxes inside, into a backyard, or up stairs.

Depending on the coop and your carrier, delivery may require a signature. Please make sure the shipping address you provide can receive a large, heavy parcel.

Check your order on arrival

Inspect the boxes before you sign for them, and inspect the contents within 48 hours of delivery.

If a box shows visible damage, note it on the delivery paperwork before signing, or refuse the delivery outright. Then email us photos.

If you find damaged or missing parts after unpacking, email hensteadcoops@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and the outer packaging. We'll send replacement parts free of charge.

Reports made more than 48 hours after delivery may not be eligible for free replacement, because carriers impose their own claim deadlines on us.

Wrong address

Make sure your shipping address is correct before you order. If a package is returned to us or requires redirection because the address was wrong or incomplete, you're responsible for any additional shipping charges.
